There seems to be one thing that’s true in our daily lives: There’s never enough time. This especially applies on the job. Lack of organization and time management can lead not only to work place stress, in sever cases being disorganized can also get you fired. So it’s important to take the organizational skills that has been developed either in school, home or through volunteering, and transfer these same skills to the workplace. It also involves goal setting, prioritizing, scheduling and avoiding procrastination and distractions. Identify organizational skills you already have and build on the ones that need developing.
