Each year, thousands of school children experience the death of a family member or friend or face a community tragedy. These children return to school with thoughts and feelings that affect their daily lives. Counselors are called upon to help these children heal their broken hearts and to teach them coping strategies.

Creative activities allow children to express their feelings and guide them through the grieving process.
