Career Inventories for the Learning Disabled Ages 6 through Adult |
| These career assessment inventories take personality, ability, and interest into account in pointing, LD students toward intelligent and realistic career choices. The Attributes Inventory assesses the individual's dominant personality characteristics; the Ability Inventory provides a profile of strengths and weaknesses across the auditory, visual, and motor areas; and the Interest Inventory can be used to determine whether the individuals' career goals are realistic.
Administration and Scoring: The career assessment inventories are completed by examiner after a period of observation, with the exception of the Interest Inventory, which may be completed by the individual. The inventories can be completed and scored in 20 to 30 minutes. The information derived from the inventories allows the examiner to select appropriate career options from the Job Finder in the manual. |
